Get to Know Me

Hello lovelies! My name is Kayci and I am your writer for the Grace Style and Bridal Blog. I started off working at this bridal shop as a consultant. I had never been exposed to the wedding industry before… Well, besides obsessing over shows like ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ or always traveling to friends and families weddings. As I began working at this shop, I immediately fell in love with it. From the relationships I’ve built with my coworkers to the way I’ve seen brides dreams come true when finding their wedding gown, I’ve seen how every ounce of this place is filled with nothing but absolute love and passion for brides. Recently, my boss, Ashley, asked if I would like the opportunity to start a blog for our adorable shop. Of course I said yes! I have always had a passion for writing, blogging, and instagramming. I was totally geeked out to begin this. However, the fact that I had never actually blogged before frightened me. How do I even start a blog? What do I even write about? Instead of letting the fear of the unknown take control, I simply dived head first into this new journey. Since everything bridal was something I began to adore, I thought why not share with others the things that I am so passionate about.

More About Me

I was born in Boston and grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. I was raised in the gymnastics world where I was taught discipline, responsibility, and hard work. Of course, little me had no idea at the time how much that sport would teach me to be the person I am today. Without gymnastics, I would not have the same mindset as I do today. Growing up, I had a knack for anything artistic or creative. Painting was a huge hobby and I always loved fashion. In my free time, I would always strum my guitar or sing some of my favorite songs. I also had an obsession with being at the beach and I always spent hours surfing in the deep blue Atlantic ocean.

What are my Goals and Aspirations?

As I begin this journey into the blogging world I aspire to influence others in a positive and impactful way. I want this blog to be the place where people can go to get inspiration straight from the source. Through the internet and social media the potential to reach thousands of lives is endless, so it is very important to me to use this platform as positively as I can. I also hope to inspire brides here at Grace Style and Bridal and I hope to give them advice that encourages them on their journey.
